SAA Congratulates the 2011Award Winners of its Annual Juried Show
The Scituate Arts Association offers congratulations to the eighteen award winners at the SAA's Annual Juried Show. On Friday, April 15th, a lovely early Spring evening, the show's winners and friends and other admirers attended the Awards Reception at the SAA's Front Street Art Gallery.
Over a $1000 in prizes were given out, made possible by the SAA's three business supporters: Patrons--Janet Cornacchio, Jack Conway & Co., Scituate; and Scituate Federal Savings Bank; and Sponsor--Frame Center of Hanover.
The accepted works and award winners were chosen by jurors, Jeanne MacFarland, a well known local artist and last year's Best in Show winner; Jack Haran, President Emeritus of North River Arts and current present of New England Watercolor Society; and "New Luminist" Sergio Roffo, a Scituate artist and Copley master.
